Fonds consists of correspondence and papers of David Stewart, a London lawyer, relating to the appeal to the Privy Council by Waters and Birnie, merchants of London, England, and Charlottetown, against the decision rendered in their suit against John and William Young, Halifax merchants, 1812-1834, 44 pages; and a receipt issued to Alexander Brymer, Deputy Paymaster for three months of lodging money, signed by Captain John Stewart of the Prince Edward Island Volunteers, 1799, 1 page.
