Gibb, Alexander, fl. 1856 : Sir Alexander Gibb was a British engineer and renowned maritime expert. Around the 1930s, the Canadian Government mandated Gibb to conduct an inquest on Canadian ports and create a new administrative formula. Overall, Gibb's report recommended a greater centralization and uniformity within the port's infrastructure. In 1936, the Government applied several of Gibb's recommendations. Canada.
