Fonds consists of correspondence including the originals and copies of letters relating chiefly to the Montour and Butler families, the work of the Lundy's Lane Historical Society, old burial grounds and churches in the Niagara peninsula, and the Six Nations Indians, 1889-1909, 0.5 cm. Also included are notebooks, including notes on a variety of historical topics: the siege of Quebec, 1759; Stoney Creek Cemetery; the evacuation of Fort Niagara, New York, in 1796; United Empire Loyalists and political unrest in 1837; and biographical notes relating to men and women at the turn of the 20th century, with special emphasis on settlers in Western Ontario, n.d., 9.5 cm.

Bull, George Armstrong, 1828-1909 : George Armstrong Bull resided in Niagara Falls, Ont., and was a clergyman, amateur historian, and former president of the Pioneer and Historical Society of Ontario, 1895-1897. He retired to Hamilton, Ont.
