Collection consists of pamphlets of the Perkins Bull Foundation advertising the book by William Perkins Bull entitled, From Brock to Currie, 1935; lists compiled by W. Perkins Bull giving names of men from Peel County, Ont., serving in World War I, as well as those enrolled in the Militia of York and Peel Counties; and newspaper reports of a talk given by W. Perkins Bull in 1937, on the history of the Anglican Church in Peel.

Bull, Perkins, 1870-1948 : W. Perkins Bull began his career as a lawyer in 1897, and then took over his father's business, B.H. Bull & Son, Cattle Importers and Breeders, Brampton, Ont. He was a founder and director of the Canadian Oil Company (White Rose) and Ingram and Bull Limited, Toronto. He was also a director of the Canadian Lumberman's Association, and controlled thousands of acres of land in western Canada. His business interests included an American oil company, Canadian ranches, and Cuban sugar plantations.

He moved to Great Britain, and during World War I, operated a hospital for Canadian officers. At various times, he was a local preacher in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, and a lay reader in the Church of England. His publications covered a wide variety of subjects, especially Canadian history. He returned to Canada in later life.
