Collection consists of genealogical charts, newspapers clippings, and historical and genealogical information concerning various members of the Dyment family of Prince Edward Island, 1830-1982. Included is a short history of Northam, the family homestead. Photocopy, 22 pages.

Dyment (family) : John Dyment and his family, and his brother Humphrey Dyment Sr. and his family, emigrated to Canada from England c.1830. John settled near Hamilton, Ontario, and Humphrey settled near Port Hill, Prince Edward Island. In 1855, Humphrey obtained a tract of land in Northam which remains a Dyment homestead.
