Pritchard, Andrew, d. 1879 : The Pritchard family was prominent in North Wakefield's local affairs. Andrew Pritchard was the postmaster and owner of a general store. The settlement of his estate following his death in 1879 affected a large portion of the community. His son, James Pritchard, was a medical doctor and served as the Local Military Representative during the First World War.
