Craig, John D : John D. Craig was the advisory engineer for the Office of the Secretary of the Northwest Territories, Department of the Interior. In 1921, he worked on the International Boundary Commission. The following year, he was placed in charge of the Canadian Government expedition to the northern islands, principally Ellesmere Island, to assert Canadian Arctic sovereignty.
