Melvin Norman Williams Robertson collection [graphic material]

Fonds consists of microfilmed material including a counter book, 1899-1901, from Woodin's meat market of Burford, Ontario, and an account book, 1899-1906, from Robertson's general store, also of Burford, Ontario. Microfilmed material is located on microfilm reel M-2367.

Fonds also includes photographs depicting various activities of the No. 3 Initial Training School, Royal Canadian Air Force, Victoriaville, Que.; and the Airship "R-100" at St. Hubert, Que., 3 August 1930.

Biography/Administrative history:

Robertson, Melvin Norman Williams, 1914- : Melvin Robertson graduated from McMaster University in 1938 with a major in history. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force at various stations in Canada and Europe between 1940 and 1963. Since his retirement Robertson has devoted much time to the study of local history, publishing numerous articles, as well as books on Holy Trinity Church in Burford and on the Burford District High School.
