Rowan, Frederic James, 1817-1884 : Civil Engineer.

Frederic James Rowan was a British-born civil engineer. As an employee of Peto, Brassey & Betts, railway contractors, he served as Over Engineer in the construction of the Grand Trunk Railway. He later moved to Denmark to undertake the construction of the Danish State Railway.
