Topics include the purchase and sale of books, chiefly legal or governmental, and the collection of accounts. Also included are miscellaneous letters, arranged chronologically, which were apparently kept for autograph purposes.

Haight, Willet R : After beginning his business career as a wallpaper merchant in Toronto, W.R. Haight became a book dealer and publisher in the same city. At various times he was associated with Haight and Company, Historical Publishing Company, Arthur Poole and Company, National Law Book Company, Dominion Law Book Company, and Ontario Book Company.
