Walter Butler Shipyards wanted to highlight Superior's role in the working world's contribution to the massive American defence and home front war effort. A CBS announcer sets the scene at Superior, Wisconsin where the largest mass launching in history is to take place. Robert Butler, President of Walter Butler Shipbuilders Inc., speaks. He introduces Admiral Emery S. Land who thanks Butler and states Hitler doesn't stand a chance against American production, particularly with regard to shipping output. Harry "Red" Foster, Canadian announcer, introduces the Dionne quinns. The Quinns introduce themselves and then sing songs and talk to the announcer. Lucy Munroe sings a song to salute the builders with Victory Fleet. Emilie Dionne christens the ship "Emilie". Lucy Munroe sings "O Canada". The Quinns come back and sing "Pour le jour de Maman" in honour of Mother's Day. Mr. Dionne speaks. The Quinns sing "God Bless America" and "There'll Always Be an England". George Watson closes off the broadcast. <30mn>
