Various CBC Radio programs, many of which originated with CBC Montreal. Included are interviews, speeches, material about the BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY, and programs about events of World War Two, such as the Dieppe Raid and the Japanese surrender. There are some programs in French. Speakers include: Rudolf Bing, Jan Masryk, Nevill Chamberlain, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Dick Irvin Sr., Lester Pearson, Liberace, John F. Kennedy, John Diefenbaker, Gérard Pelletier, Jean Drapeau and Queen Elizabeth.
1. Discs were apparently sent to CBC Radio Program Archives from CBC Montreal. 2. Other discs from Program Archives' Montreal Collection are in Accession 1984-0164. The discs are identified by donor original numbers with the prefix MC.
