This collection consists of a variety of CBC television programs including programs in the children's educational series CANADIAN STORIES and CANADIAN SCHOOLS, programs about the Canadian National Exhibition entitled CNE 101, the series featuring church services entitled MEETING PLACE, the series exploring philosophical and religious issues entitled MAN ALIVE, a series profiling senior citizens entitled OLDTIMERS, the current affairs series ADRIENNE AT LARGE, TUESDAY NIGHT, TAKE 30, OMBUDSMAN, SPEAKING OUT, WEEKEND, and MIDWEEK, and the CBLT series about senior citizens FROM NOW ON. It also includes some news specials, coverage of the 1977 Canada Summer Games, the documentary series SPORTS OF THE 21ST OLYMPIAD, the CBLT produced current affairs series THIS WEEK IN ONTARIO and the CBLT produced agricultural series AGRISCOPE, the CBLT talk show TIME FOR YOU, and the children's series THE FRIENDLY GIANT, AFTER FOUR, HOWARD PRESENTS, DR. ZONK AND THE ZUNKINS, and the quiz series for high school students REACH FOR THE TOP.
