Cross-section of CBC and SRC television programs held on videocassettes for screening at the Vidéothèque, an Ottawa screening room housed in the National Arts Centre and used by CBC. Programs include drama, opera, other music and variety programs, some current affairs and news, science programs, children's programs, sports and many other program types. There are also some non-broadcast CBC promotional tapes and some non-CBC productions.
1. Given the contradictions between various inventories it is possible that some tape titles will differ from item level entries but time and the size of the collection do not permit proper verification. Several tapes may have the same donor original number.

CBC has supplied inventories and index cards for this collection. The inventories provide access by title, in order of donor original tape number, subject etc. but no one source of information seems to be complete or up-to-date. item level descriptions have been prepared according to an inventory sent with the tapes.
