General note:

Collection consists of a cross-section of CBC Radio programming including speeches, drama, music, coverage of an NHL hockey game, and audio of some television programs. Series represented include: Distinguished Artists; Opera Time; Canadian Playwrights; Midweek Theatre; and CBC Wednesday Night.
1. These recordings are original tapes transferred to MISA from the collection of CBC Program Archives. Program archives has made its own tape copies of these recordings. Most of the recordings appear to be complete programs. The collection includes both and polyester tapes.

Program Archives has supplied MISA with Main Catalogue descriptions for some recordings in the acetate tape collection. They are interfiled with the Main Catalogue card copies in binders in the Collections Development Section.
