Series consists of correspondence, ephemera, minutes, financial records, and other documents relating to the Trotskyist movement during the latter part of the Second World War and the immediate post-war era, including the early Cold War period. Sheds light on the Trotskyists' interventions in the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) and the activities of the organizations's National and Political Committees. Also contains branch records from Toronto and Vancouver, a copy of Maurice Spector's Selected Readings in Marxism, as well as documents relating to the Trotskyist Harry Archibald, who was elected to Parliament as a CCF MP in 1945.
