William Stevenson was born and educated in Great Britain, emigrated to Canada in 1947, worked as a journalist for the Toronto Star and Star Weekly and later became a producer for the CBC. The collection consists of various reports by Stevenson and out-takes, printing elements, source material, and transcripts for his television production A MAN CALLED INTREPID, including Sir William Stephenson's recollections of his life as a secret agent.

General note:

The accession refers to quarter-inch audio tracks and some catalogue cards refer to them, but with no shelf numbers. A thorough check of documentation for this accession in 2013 failed to locate the quarter-inch tapes.
