The Empire Theatre presents THINGS YOU OUGHT TO KNOW ABOUT NEW LISKEARD. Manager Mascioli of the Empire Theatre is shown in front of lobby cards. The Kiwanis have a social evening dinner and pose after their weekly luncheon. Footage is seen of the Ford car garage: staff pose, a customer buys a car, and the parts and service department are visited. Also seen are: A.J. Wagner's Rexall Drug Store; the boys, sleds and prizes at the Dog Derby; the T. Eaton Groceteria; the New Liskeard Choral Society; Box and Welk men's wear; the New Liskeard Beauty Parlour; kids leaving school from Harvey School and McIntyre School; Joe Vanier's barber shop; the movie ball with the Capitol dance band; Hume Paint and Wallpaper store; Cochrane Dunlop Hardware; Miss North Bay of the movies; the T&NO Railway Ladies Bowling League; Kinsey Service Station; Johnson Dairy with pasteurization; and the Sunbeam bakery. Personalities are identified on title cards in this film which Mr. Mascioli used as a theatre trailer.
