Page was one of the leading poets in the poetic renaissance of the Forties and was associated with the Preview Group in Montreal. In 1946 she published her first collection, AS TEN AS TWENTY, and another volume in 1954, THE MENTAL AND THE FLOWER. She is one of the few poets in this country who is both a poet and a painter. As a painter she is known as P.K. Irwin and she appears on this program as both. A.J.M.
