This is an appeal for financial aid by Earl Baldwin of Bewdley (Stanley Baldwin) on behalf of "Jewish and non-Aryan Christian refugees," the victims of man's inhumanity to man" who have come to England for help. He speaks as a private citizen and as a spokesman for all religious communities in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He mentions that Jews outside the Third Reich have contributed magnificently (millions of pounds) to help their fellow Jews and "non-Aryan Christians". So far the Christian contribution has been insignificant. He mentions the sufferings of Jews, the part-Jewish and especially the Jewish children, who must be brought out of Germany as soon as money is available to transport them, train them, feed them, clothe them and re-settle them elsewhere in the world. He describes how parents have pleaded to have their children taken out of Germany, even if it means they will never see them again. Mass immigration is necessary; delay may be fatal. He also appeals for help for Christian husbands and fathers who are married to Jewish women or women of Jewish descent. He appeals to Germany to co-operate in this mass evacuation of her citizens. <16mn>
