The Imperial Fruit Show at Birmingham with footage of Prince George attending the show and Miss Canada, Miss OP (Okanagan Packers), and Miss United Fruit Companies of Nova Scotia at the show and at children's hospitals.~Prince George at the Imperial Fruit Show, Birmingham. Prince George, accompanied by his entourage, walks through the streets of Birmingham. Storefront names such as "Hull", "Munrol", and "Randall Bros. & Parsons Importers" are seen. The Prince inspects the fruit displays and mingles with the crowd before arriving at the Canadian Pavillon.~Miss Canada : Imperial Fruit Show. Miss Canada poses for the camera, after which still pictures of her are shown. She poses with sick children while bringing them fruit. At the Granby Halls, young ladies wave maple leaf signs in one hand while holding fruit in the other. A young woman is seen posing for the camera while swinging a tennis racket and holding up a sign, "Eat More Fruit". Footage includes: shots of fruit-eating crowds; dignitaries; Miss O.P. (Okanagan Packers) sitting on a swing; and Miss United Fruit Company (Nova Scotia). Finally, hospital staff and patients alike display the joy of eating fruit.

1. The donor's father, John Forsyth-Smith, was the Canadian Government's Fruit Trade Commissioner for Europe for the years 1914-1933.~2. This appears to be amateur footage, but could possibly be out-takes.~3. Actuality footage over 50 years - copyright expired.~4. There is no indication of who made this document on the print.
