Description:

Television public affairs program hosted by Frank Willis with Rex Loring. Pierre Berton interviews pioneer film producer from the silent era, Mack Sennett. Clips featuring the Keystone Cops, Bathing Beauties and Harry Langdon, as well as an excerpt from Charlie Chaplin's "A Day at the Races" illustrate Sennett's reminiscences. He recalls his discovery of the Keystone Cops, Chaplin, Harry Langdon, W.C. Fields and Gloria Swanson, and talks about his own debut into Hollywood. Among the names mentioned are Marie Dressler, Ben Turpin, Wallace Beery and his mother's lawyer Calvin Coolidge. <30mn>
