Photographs of Inuit and Inuvialuit Artists, including prominent indigenous creators Mary Okheena (graphic artist), Susie Malgokak (graphic artist), Colin Okheena (carver), William Gruben (carver), and Karen Wright-Fraser (textile artist in Yellowknife) for "Art in the Bones", a Mosaic about the aboriginal art apprenticeship program in Inuvik and Ulukhatok (then Holman) for Canadian Geographic.

Burton's visit to Ulukhatok, NWT coincided with their weekend-long Kingalik Jamboree held in June 2004. The festival coincides with the migration of eider ducks (kingalik), an important seasonal food source. The festival features events such as tea boiling, seal skinning, duck plucking, fish filleting, arm wrestling, dancing, recreation, and sports. As a non-indigenous/non-local reportedly initiated the celebration, the event is non-traditional, but blends festival activities with local knowledge. Organizers of the Kingalik Jamboree want young Inuvialuit children to have the opportunity to learn traditional skills and language.

Burton captures those attending the Jamboree in traditional Inuvialuit dress and some of the knowledge-sharing activities such as traditional arm-wrestling, seal skinning and duck plucking competitions. The photographs show young children watching the elder citizens compete (e.g. elder women deftly skinning seals in a few minutes using an ulu). She also photographed performances by Inuvialuit drummers and dancers, children playing outside, families, elders, and the general region and landscape.
