Robinson held the position of critic for Justice and Solicitor General of Canada for just under nine years during his tenure as a Member of Parliament. During this time, he was involved in many incidents and events both in Canada and abroad that related to his responsibilities as critic.

This series highlights the different instances when Robinson was on the front lines as the critic for the NDP caucus on Justice and Solicitor General of Canada. His position as a member of the Standing Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs is also highlighted throughout this series.
