The accession consists mainly of annual reports, newsletters and circulars coming from the Canada Seed Growers' Association. It contains also hundreds of individual reports from boys and girls across Canada who participated in the Macdonald-Robertson Seed Grain competition which began in 1900 and continued for three years. The competition included about 1,500 competitors and led to the organization of the Canadian Seed Growers' Association in 1904.
The accession contains also photographs, electronic records and film reels.
