This accession consists of reference material from the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) Law Library.

The accession includes, but is not limited to reports, case files, publications, committee records, judgments, orders, regulations, and rulings. The material comes from a collection that was used by the Agency and its predecessors for reference purposes at headquarters located in the National Capital Region. The documents are broadly related to surface transportation (i.e. railways, freight) and air transportation (i.e. aviation, airlines, aircrafts). Some subjects include the Board of Railway Commissioners for Canada, Board of Transport Commissioners, Railway and Canal cases, Railway and Transport Cases, and reports of cases decided by the Railway and Canal Commissioners and the Railway Rates Tribunal.
