This sub-series includes secret files that mainly document Roger Rolland's work as special assistant to the Prime Minister's Office, as well as the activities of the Prime Minister's office in Montreal.

The subjects of these files concern the province of Quebec. They include, for example, planning files for the Prime Minister's visits to Quebec (Carnaval de Québec, vol. 57), a strategy for drafting the Prime Minister's speeches (vol. 61), and documents from the Quebec branch of the Liberal Party of Canada (vol. 61).

The sub-series also includes correspondence received by the Montreal office (vols. 57-59), Roger Rolland's personal correspondence (vol. 60) and correspondence between the Prime Minister's Office and the Montreal office (vols. 60-61).
