Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by Justice Canada's War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity Section.

Volumes 5983-6045 contain files relating to the trial of a person suspected of war crimes by the Commission of Enquiry on War Criminals (1985), also known as the Deschênes Commission.

Records include, but are not limited to, investigation reports, lists of witnesses, lists of historical documents, correspondence, memoranda, translation of documents, immigration and citizenship documents, witness statements, affidavits, exhibits, transcripts of videotaped interviews, transcripts of proceedings, examination of discovery. This accession also contains numerous photographs, maps, videocassettes, and an audio cassette.
