This sub-series (formerly sub-series F VII) contains work by anonymous photographers, George M. Sittig, Lippincott? C.E. Fisher, Jenkins, H. & H. Cotterell, H. Reid, R.E. Prince, C.W. Witbeck, and James Adams ?. The views are often organized alphabetically, and most have envelopes with captions, and cover topics such as steam and electric locomotives and train cars, and train stations, tracks, shops, and signs of a wide variety of largely American railways, including private company railways, and also some Canadian railways. There are also views of Cuban railways and Mexican railway scenes.

Additionally, the sub-series contains some unidentified personal, landscape, and building views; and views of ocean liners, freighters, U.S. Navy submarines and other vessels.
