This sub-series (formerly sub-series E XVII) contains indexes that were found among the prints in (what were formerly) Series E and Series B. The titles or content of the indexes is as follows: one black notebook, stamped "S.575F, H.Q.H.S. 815-9-575F, dating between Sept. 21, 1939 to May 3,1940" detailing vessels boarded, with names, owners, photo of ship, and various other details (notebook contains 81 entries); a ringed binder, organized alphabetical by subject with captions for some photographs dealing with Toronto harbour, early 20th century; 2 copies of "Catalogue of the Great Lakes Vessel Negatives of Andrew Edward Young (1875-1942) of Young's Marine Studio Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and of his successor Frank T. Patyk owner of the Studio from 1942 to 1958. Vernon Car Mfg. Company; a catalogue "Locomotive Pictures, Edwin R. Clarke - Dana W. Clark, Chelmsford, Mass., 1941."; black binder with loose pages of name lists, some titled "List of Registered Vessels - Canada 1896"; a ledger with numbers and captions relating to military, possibly panoramas, and industrial scenes in Toronto, 1917-1924; black notebook "Valcartier Negs 10"; black ledger listing numbers, Military groups, ca. 1915-17; brown ledger titled "Film Index" of numbers and military groups, probably for panoramic negatives, ca. 1916; file titled "Canadian Pacific Railway Photo List, Paterson-George Collection"; file titled several lists, labelled Drawings; file titled "Locomotive Negatives: Edwin R.
