This sub-series (formerly sub-series E XIII) contains prints by photographers such as T.L. McCullough of Deseronto, Ontario; A.M. Cunningham of Hamilton; E. Poole of St. Catharines; Toronto Transportation Commission ?; others as indicated on prints; and anonymous photographers and includes views of identified places and landscapes, mostly in Canada, arranged alphabetically by province (followed by town if applicable). Very often the views include harbours, railways, stations, ships or other vessels. Places include: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, with the largest number of photographs taken in Ontario and Quebec. Examples in Ontario and Quebec include a panorama of Fraser Mills, British Columbia; Dominion Coal Company train, Glace Bay, Cape Breton; Collingwood, Owen Sound, Parry Sound, Toronto, and Petrolia, Ontario views; "First train of Lotbiniere & Megantic Railway upon arrival at Deschaillons, Quebec. Nov.1894", and several Quebec City views. In addition, there are a few similar landscape, town and railway views of places in the United States, Guatemala, Belgium, France, Panama, Egypt, England, Italy, and Russia.

The sub-series also contains portraits of both identified and unidentified individuals. The identified views are arranged alphabetically and include portraits of Josiah Bruce and family, most by Notman Studio; Dr. Grenfell, 1905; Wilfred Laurier, by Topley of Ottawa; copy of Wm. Lyon Mackenzie; Robert and Mathilda Merrilees, by W. Farmer of Hamilton; copy of Louis Riel; Goldwin Smith, by Elliott & Fry of England; and the Taylor branch of Josiah Bruce's family. Photographers among the unidentified portraits include Notman & Fraser; James Inglis; J. Bruce; S. Park of Brantford, and J.W. Bald of Midland.
