This sub-series (formerly sub-series D VII) contains views by photographers such as Micklethwaite and Thomas Norrell, and includes images of steam and electric locomotives and train cars of Niagara, St. Catharines, Canadian National, Grand River Railway, Lake Erie & Northern Railway, Cornwall Street Railway and railways in Toronto, Montreal, and Windsor as well as various types of American freight cars, some of them built by the Western Steel Car Foundry and Pressed Steel Car. Additionally there are views of various train cars including the Gazoline Motor Rail car; passenger car; box car; postal car; baggage car; flats car; gondola; and a refrigerator car and one album entitled: "The Never-Never Land. Some observations of a Railway Enthusiast in the United States of America", 1951-1956, by Thomas Norrell. Illustrated with photographs of steam locomotives throughout the text.
