General note:

This accession consists of copies of property records concerned primarily with the harbour/wharves of Saint John, New Brunswick. The contents are comprised of both facsimiles and/or originals or contemporary copies of the property documents. The majority of the documents date from the period prior to 1927 when the federal government took responsibility for the port. Some of the files include plans or drawings.

Received from the Saint John Port Authority April 2004. This accession had been held by the Authority in a fire-proof area of their records storage facility.
