The accession consists of the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages photographic material, documenting the activities of Dr. Victor C. Goldbloom as the Commissioner serving the Office from 1991 to 1999. Photographs include various official portraits of V.C. Goldbloom, as well as his presence at various events, meetings and celebrations across Canada. Subjects include St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB (1991); Canadian Parents for French annual meetings in Yellowknife, NWT (1991), and Toronto, ON (1992); reception at La Societe St-Jean Baptiste, Sherbrooke, QC (1992); McGill Founder's Day Fall Convocation, McGill University, Montreal, QC (1992); speech given at the International Rotary Club of Edmonton meeting, Edmonton, AB (1992); receiving and Honourary Degree from Concordia University, Montreal, QC (1993); interview in CJOB68 radio studio, Winnipeg, MB; unidentified signing ceremony.

Not all photographs are dated, but assumption has been made to use time period 1991-1999 as dates of creation of this material, as these were years that Victor C. Goldbloom was Commissioner of Official Languages.
