British (or Canadian) tanks and infantry are shown advancing through a field and a ruined town as well as racing for cover as bullets pepper the wall above their heads. Sequences on tanks firing and vehicles moving through a town. Women collaborators are shown getting their heads shaved as a crowd looks on. American soldiers distribute food to civilians.
