OliverDescription:Travelling a motor highway from Lake Louise to Jasper. A 150-mile throught the mountains direct route from Banff to Jasper National Park, (Illustrations shown), where yet to be completed road (at time of film) ends at Mosquito Creek, a transfer to Pony-back, takes the mid-thirties group through the rest of the pre-destined route. Again, beautiful mountain scenery, i.e. Mistaya River Valley, Howse River, camping on the banks, shadowed by Mount Wilson. Indian teepees are still used for camping tents). Sunset Pass - valley of North Saskatchewan; Wilcox Pass - Sunwapta River Valley - the route of the "new" highway. Travellers leave the ponies to complete their motor journey at the northern end of the highway i.e. along the Athabaska River to Jasper.
