Sound recording of a concert in which Andrew Huggett performs with 13 Strings, conducted by Brian Law at Christchurch Cathedral in Ottawa, ON. The recording seems to have been broadcast on the radio, probably CBC. The announcer introduces Huggett, and includes a short interview with him. It covers such topics as Huggett's current activities and projects, and includes a brief resumé of the Huggett Family. It would seem that the interview and recording comes at a bit of a crossroads in the Huggett Family's career and existence as an ensemble. There is discussion of a possible tour in Russia, but this never materialized for the group. Other aspects of the introductory conversation include a brief description of recorders.~The pieces of music heard on the broadcast include the following: Concerto in C Major for Sopranino recorder and Strings by Antonio Vivaldi, Suite for Treble Recorder and Strings by Gordon Jacob, and Concerto in C Major for Recorder and Strings by William Babell. Three movements from Neils Gade's Noveletter for String Orchestra are also included, but performed by the 13 Strings ensemble, without Andrew Huggett. <1h 1m 48s>
