Christmas cards depicting statuary and wood-bas-reliefs found in Canada and in Europe with the exception of : 1) the one poorer-quality photo taken by Solange Karsh, probably in 1948, with an accompanying typed note, showing their cat Niça (All Rollingwood of Little Wings") sitting on a sofa in their "Little Wings"; 2) the 1947 photo taken by someone else, showing Solange and the cat at "Little Wings".. Trudi Le Caine, a friend of the Karsh's from mid-1940's to late 1950's : Trudi Le Caine, born in Czechchoslovakia Sept. 25th, 1911, immigrated to Canada from Paris just before the German occupation in 1940. Her father had accepted a position as Music Director at Upper Canada College in 1937. She had visited him in Canada in 1939, arriving back in France the day before war was declared. She married in 1960. Her husband (deceased) worked for National Research Council and, according to Trudi, was known as the father of electronic music.
