Concerns the continuation of Shields legacy, managed by her estate.
Includes a list of books in Shields' library at the time of her death which the estate then placed with institutions; correspondence with translator, publishers, The Winnipeg Foundation, agent, family, Prairie Theatre Exchange, and others. Includes revision of the website, program from Unless (the play), driving tour "Carol Shields' Manitoba", book club list and PTE website promotion, gala invitation and other documents for Carol Shields Festival of New Works, a driving tour of Manitoba and the labyrinth, among other initiatives (such as the auditorium dedication at the Millenium Library, Winnipeg), catalogue from the artist who created a sculptural bust of Shields, digital images of New York Public Library tribute The Stone Diaries: A 15th Anniversary Celebration and digitized photographs sent to a second sculptor, Erin Senka.
Includes transcripts of Shields' interviews from the 1980's and 1990's on the radio (of recordings also in the fonds) created by Karen McDiarmid for The Carol Shields Literary Trust website project.
