Series documents Dr. Robert Jackson's teaching experiences, namely the many courses, seminars and workshops related to arthroscopy and orthopaedic surgery. Textual documents consist of course outlines and syllabus', teaching notes, speeches, reports and promotional material for the Arthroscopic Learning Center, of which he was one of the founders and helped develop. However, the majority of the material in the series consists of photographs (e.g. Dr. Jackson performing surgery), specifically teaching slides that highlight the content of Dr. Jackson's courses and seminars. Audio recordings cover a seminar on orthopaedic research and a lecture series. Subjects range from arthroscopic surgery, orthopaedics and knee bracing to laser surgery, biomechanics and osteoarthritis, amongst others.
