Collection search - New Convention Signed Against Inhumane Conventional Weapons

Typewritten, verso : A new convention designed to prohibit or restrict the use of certain particularly inhumane conventional weapons, such as fragmentation and incendiary weapons and mines and booby-traps, was signed by the representatives of more than 30 States this morning at a ceremony at United Nations Headquarters in which it was opened for signature. The instrument is entitled " Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May be Deemed to be Excessively Injurious or to have Indiscriminate Effects".
