This sub-series consists of miscellaneous operational and administrative records of synoptical histories for various constitutent/affiliate railways, hotels, lodges, inns and other companies that once were part of the Canadian National Railways System. Additionally, there are original correspondence files from the 1920s and 1930s concerning the amalgamation of various constituent and affiliate railways and related companies.

Volume 16351 contains miscellaneous material dating from the 1920s to the 1970s, including hotel stationary and other accessories from the 1970s, maps of Newfoundland, CN tourist booklets in colour (1940s-1970s), CN Branchline construction 1929-1932, historical information on the Victoria Bridge, correspondence relating to the joint use of Ottawa Union Station between New York Central Railway and CPR and CNR (1926-1941), and miscellaneous correspondence relating to the Bureau of Economics, ca. 1930s.

Volume 16352 contains synoptical histories of various companies affiliated with Canadian National, including Southern New England Railroad, Manitoba Northern Railway, Canadian Government Railways, Southern Vermont Railway, Grand Trunk Pacific Alaska Steamship Company. Also, synoptical histories and operating statistics from the 1930s and 1940s for CN hotels and lodges, Canadian National Land Settlement Association, Canadian National Trust Company, CN Pension Fund, and Eastern Lands Department. Volume 16353 contains amalgamation information on various constituent and affiliated companies, including correspondence and memos, 1921-1939. File level descriptions located in box.

Volume 16354 and 16356 contain miscellaneous correspondence relating to the CN Hotel Department, ca. 1920s - 1960s. Includes records relating to Jasper Park Lodge and Golf Course and the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.
