File consists of two greeting cards produced by SACTU with reproductions of paintings called "Demand a living age" and "One country, one federation" (by Miles Pelo, 1990).

The text on the back of the cards reads: "The South African Congress of Trade Unions (SACTU) was formed 35 years ago as the first non-racial trade union centre in South Africa, struggling for both economic and political rights of the working people. Following severe repression, by 1964 the entire leadership of SACTU was either detained, banned, restricted, banished or jailed. SACTU was forced underground and today uses every means to achieve our objective of an end to apartheid and exploitation, based on the Freedom Charter. An injury to one is an injury to all."
