The series contains records that provide some details about Henriette Major's personal and family life, as well as records relating to her journalism career and her participation in professional and literary events, including literary award ceremonies. It includes documents relating to the creation of the Prix Henriette-Major by the publishing house Dominique et Compagnie. It contains two press photographs of Henriette Major, one from 1975 and the other from 2005, as well as a photograph of Henriette Major, Claude Lafortune and other artists receiving a prize around 1978. The series also includes four drawings that Henriette Major made while studying at the École des Beaux-Arts, a copy of the book Au fond des yeux. 25 Québécoises qui écrivent (Nouvelle Optique, 1981) and a copy of the Culture vivante magazine to which she contributed. Lastly, the series contains in memoriam articles and letters of condolence written after Henriette Major's death.
