This series consists of records related to Anthony Belcourt's activities as a consultant and his private business ventures. Belcourt founded or was a part of several different consulting and communications companies. This work began first as an unincorporated independent contractor, taking work for the Native Council of Canada. It was in this role that Belcourt played a role in the inclusion of Métis in the drafting of the Canadian Constitution. Having achieved some success with this work Belcourt founded his first consulting company, Impact Research. This was followed co-founding a small consultancy group under the name of Seneca Communications. In the 1987, together with Tom Spaulding, Belcourt founded Wolfwalker Productions. The company was initially focused on audio-visual production, but later expanded to include work on a broader range of communications related activities. There after Wollfwalker Productions became Belcourt's primary vehicle for his consultancy work.

It should be noted that Belcourt's son, Shane Belcourt, later carried on the Wolfwalker company name. The records included here do not reflect this later iteration of the company.
