This sub-series includes files relating to various CAE projects in the 1960s to 2003. There is a significant amount of documentation file from the 1980s onwards, with some additional textual records for context.
Of additional interest, many photographs are stamped C.A. Barbier. In 1925, Charles-Auguste Barbier acquired the Alfred Charbonneau, photographer business on Notre-Dame Street in Lachine. Barbier was a professional photographer, operating until 1969, when the business was taken over by Pierre Giroux. The business continued to operate under the name C.A. Barbier until it closed in 2008.
Volumes 1-2: In the set of negatives (in envelopes) from January 1964 to October 1977, they have been classified in what appears to be chronological order, from 1-1421. Additionally, many of the photo subjects (when there is anything written next to the negative) appear to be of a both internal operations (that is documentation of CAE projects) and also for public relations purposes. Some of the subjects (which are typewritten on the envelopes) in this set include:

from the 1970s: copy pictures of historic album, artist sketch of Saudi control room; visual system and model board for ANZ; artist rendering of space.
Volumes 3 and 33: There is also another set of project negatives dating from roughly the early 1985s to the 1990s, with a classification of 1-603.
Volumes 4-11, 19, 22-32; 34-36: In the project files, there are photo prints and negatives are placed in roughly chronological order, with a date range of 1990-2000

Volume 67 includes photos of simulators for commercial airlines, A-C, including Air Canada, Air India, Australian Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Southern
Volume 68 includes photos of miscellaneous manufacturing photos; photos of Energy Management Systems, Power plant simulations, in alphabetical order A-I; some companies and subjects are Boston Edison, SCADA, Comsole, EDELCA, Grand Coulee, Gezhouba, Hydro Quebec James Bay, Hawaian Electric Company, Irish Electric Board (Fossil), Manitoba Hydro, Mississauga Hydro.
Volume 69 includes photos relating to ATC and controlled HMD, AIMS, and Tigers (Telepresence) (alphabetical order).
Volume 70 includes photos of Visual Systems, such as All MAXVUE reference mountain landscape/mesh landscape/night landing/clouds over ground/trees and also photos relating to Naval Control Systems.
Volumes 71-72 includes military simulation photos A-U, including Canadian Forces CF-18
Volume 73 icludes photographs documenting the activities of various CAE subsidiaries, including Canadian Bronze Company, Cleveland-CAE Abrasives, and Northwest Industries Ltd. Photos are primarily black and white.
Volume 74 includes photographs (primarily in black and white) documenting the activities of various CAE subsidiaries, including Northwest Industries Ltd, Cleveland-CAE Abrasives, and Union Screen Plate Co, and CAE Machinery.
Volume 75 includes photographs (primarily colour) documenting the activities of Union Screen Plate Co., CAE Machinery Ltd., CAE Fiberglass, and miscellaneous images of CAE activities and employees.
Volumes 76-77 includes miscellaneous photographs of workshop activities and of employees, ca. 1990s
Volumes 84-85 includes photographs of simulators for commercial airlines, D-V.
