This series consists of audiovisual material (films and sound recordings) created or compiled by Canadian Aviation Electronics.
The majority of the films (on betacam, VHS, and DVD) relate to what is viewed inside the simulators, including the Maxvue videowall test patterns and sea states, animations, and virtual and cockpit composites.
Other films document visits by dignitaries, such as Boris Yeltsin (1992) and Jean Chretien (2001), as well as company history, called CAE Retrospective 1947-1994. There is also a couple of CAE Corporate videos (1987, 2002).There are also some miscellaneous cassette tapes, including one relating to corporate history from 1982.
More specifically, there is a large set of UMatic tapes from 1985-1987 that document a variety of different subjects.. Note that many of the videos have been unedited. As follows, there are:
