Accession consists of a wide variety of advertising and promotional material created by, or for, the Corporate Communications branch of the Canadian Wheat Board in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The purpose of these records is to advertise/promote the various functions of the Canadian Wheat Board, especially the sales and marketing of Western Canadian Wheat, aimed at both domestic and international audiences. These records include published textual material such as booklets, pamphlets, brochures, CWB Annual Reports (1935-2011); photographs (in colour or black and white) of CWB buildings, facilities, executives and visiting foreign delegations; posters and promotional videos (both VHS analog and digital DVD). Most of this material has not been classified per the CWB's recordkeeping system.

This accession was a direct transfer to LAC Winnipeg by the Canadian Wheat Board in 2014, prior to its privatization the following year.
