Fonds consists of textual documents in the form of a personal handwritten letter by Canadian trace & field athlete Marshall N. Limon, who competed at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, as well as newspaper clippings documenting Limon's race results and pre-Olympics preparation. Also included in the fonds are five photographs of Limon and other members of the 1936 Canadian track & field team.

Limon, Marshall N., 1915-1965 : Marshall N. Limon (1915-1965) was a sprinter and a member of the Canadian track & field team that competed during the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, specifically in the 100m, 400m, and 1600m races, the latter of which included his teammate and renowned legendary Canadian sprinter Phil Edwards. Following his athletic career, Limon fought in the Second World War as a member of the 440 Squadron in the capacity of an Armourer Bombs.
