File consists of return copies of letters, drafted by the Privy Council Office (PCO), to which a mechanical reproduction of the Prime Minister's signature has been affixed. The signatures were applied in 2015 using an automated signature machine (a process called "arming"). Use of the autopen machine was overseen by the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS). Drafts are sometimes present. Records in this file are organized chronologically by the date the document was armed.
